Wei Ling and Shing Khong graduated in 2008 and both found excellent careers in different MNC companies. They were about to get married and after sorting out their financials, bought a lovely double storey house in Penang and spent almost all their savings renovating the house in anticipation of starting a happy family together.
Three weeks before their wedding, there was a thunderstorm and to their dismay, their front roof was blown off and rain water seeped into the master bedroom, causing damage to the bed, mattress & wooden flooring. In addition, they also discovered all their new household appliances were damaged by lightning strike.
