Introducing Our New Personal Accident cover for Motorcycle Insurance:

2) Motorcycle 3PA Insurance

Malaysia has the third highest fatality rate from road traffic accidents in Asia and ASEAN. More than
half of all road traffic deaths are motorcyclists (Source: Dr Milton Lum, We have the third highest
death rate from road accidents, 14 May 2019, The Star). Aside from adhering to road safety
precautions and traffic rules, it is important to be covered against untoward incidents such as a
motorcycle accident which could lead to serious physical injury or even death.
As such, MSIG is pleased to introduce:

1) Rider's Personal Accident, an optional add-on to Comprehensive, and Third Party, Fire and
Theft motorcycle insurance; and

2) Motorcycle 3PA Insurance, a Third Party cover with Rider's Personal Accident packaged in a
single policy.

Available at a very affordable premium, this basic PA cover provides compensation for accidental
death and permanent disablement if the rider is injured while boarding, alighting from, or riding the
insured motorcycle. The coverage will be extended to any Authorised Riders if the ‘All Riders' cover
is purchased. Additionally, a bereavement allowance will be paid out in the event of accidental
death.
